1 Does Moment have a camera app?
Moment does have a camera app called Pro Camera. It is available for iOS in the Apple Store. Unfortunately, it is no longer available for Android phones.

2 What does the Moment app do?
The Moment Pro Camera app gives you complete manual control over your phone’s camera. It allows you to manually set exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus.
But that’s not all; you can use a grid overlay, horizon leveler, raw files, raw burst mode, live histogram, exposure bracketing, and time-lapse. As a result, the Moment app is one of the most complete photography and videography apps on the market.

3 Who invented the Moment Pro Camera app?
The smartphone photographers from Moment decided to create a new camera app to lift smartphones into small DSLR cameras.

4 How do you use Pro Camera?
You can use Pro Camera by downloading it from the iOS app store. Then, start the application and allow the app to use Bluetooth for connection with gimbals, microphones, and headphones.

5 Is the Moment Pro Camera app free?
Pro Camera from Moment is not free. However, it is available for around $6.99. Additional in-app purchases are available for $3.99 a piece or $4.99 as a bundle.

6 Is the Pro Camera app worth it?
The Moment Pro Camera app is worth the investment of around 7 dollars. It combines manual settings and DSLR-like options in one application.

7 Is Moment Pro Camera available for Android?
The Moment Pro Camera is not available for Android smartphones. However, there are four alternatives I can recommend using. You can find these apps in this article.
8 Why does the Pro Camera app need my location?
The Moment Pro Camera app uses location services to determine your approximate location. Then, it adds the GPS location tag to each photo and video so other apps can ‘see’ the location.

9 Can you use Moment lenses without an app?
It is possible to use all Moment smartphone lenses without using an app, including the Pro Camera application.
However, I still recommend using a good-quality camera app with complete manual control for advanced smartphone photography and videography.

10 Can you use Moment lenses without a phone case?
It is possible to use Moment lenses without a phone case. Instead, you can use a lens mount from the M-series. It enables you to use all five Moment lenses with any smartphone or tablet on the market.
Unfortunately, it has been a big misunderstanding. Many photographers think they can’t use the Moment lens without a case. That is not true. You don’t need a Moment case for a Moment lens. Simply pick up a lens mount and your favorite Moment lenses, and you are good to go.

11 Does a Moment lens work on a tablet or iPad?
All Moment lenses work on smartphones and tablets. It is possible to use the lens mount from the M-series on Android and Apple tablets.

12 What do Moment lenses do?
Moment lenses improve the image quality of your smartphone photos and videos using different technologies. Moment has five lenses on the market: wide-angle, telephoto, macro, fisheye, and anamorphic.

13 Can you use the Moment lenses on the selfie camera?
You can use all Moment lenses on your phone’s selfie camera by using the lens mount from the M-series. This mount will fit on (pretty much) all mobile phones from the last years. It might be necessary to remove the protective case.

14 How can I preserve and carry the Moment lenses?
It would be best to keep your Moment lenses in a weatherproof or standard lens case to prevent them from getting scratched. Moment has several different options available in store.
15 Are Moment lenses waterproof?
Although Moment’s lenses are sealed, they are not officially waterproof. But some photographers use them underwater in combination with a waterproof phone with an IP68 certificate. I haven’t tried it yet!

16 Are Moment cases waterproof?
Moment cases are not waterproof. But I don’t think they need to be. Most high-end phones which are compatible with these cases have IP68 certificates. Which means they are waterproof up to 3 meters of water.

17 Does Moment have a waterproof bag for my lenses?
It’s new! But yes, Moment does have a weatherproof lens case for four lenses and additional smartphone photography gear.

18 Are Moment lenses worth it?
In my opinion, Moment lenses are still worth it. Although smartphone manufacturers keep improving camera phones, the Moment lenses will enhance your images.
19 Are Moment lenses better than other lens add-ons?
Moment lenses are definitely better than other smartphone lenses on the market. This is because they are made of high-quality materials, which prevent distortion, and cheaper lenses tend to have vignettes.

20 Are there downsides to Moment lenses?
In my opinion, the only downside to Moment lenses is the price. You will buy a quality lens, and it comes at a cost. So if you are looking for a budget-friendly lens, try one of the lenses I have tried.
But I can promise you all lenses (and other Moment equipment) are well worth your money. Ensure you clean the lenses regularly and keep them safe in a lens case.

21 Where are the Moment lenses made of?
Moment lenses are made of aerospace-grade metal and hand-polished glass. They all come with a small fabric pouch and front cap cover to protect them from dust, dirt, and greasy fingers.

24 Why am I getting dark corners with my Moment lens?
Make sure you adjust the case and lens or lens mount and lens properly over your smartphone camera’s lens. If it is not entirely centered, it can cause dark corners.
The same thing can happen to anamorphic lenses. You can see tiny black bars on either side of the images. Again, make sure you adjust the lens. The bars will disappear.
25 Does Moment ship products across the world?
Moment ships its products to nearly 200 countries worldwide. You can find a list of countries on their website. All orders are shipped from the warehouse in Fontana, California, in the United States of America.
26 How much does shipping cost?
Moment offers free shipping for all orders above $98 in the United States and $198 internationally. Most orders are delivered within 2-3 days for 90% of all orders. However, specific locations take a bit more time!

You will get two years warranty on all Moment smartphone lenses. It is possible to keep protecting your gear after the manufacturer’s warranty expires with the Extend Protection Plan. You can choose between a Base Plan Coverage or ADH (Accidental Damage from Handling) Coverage.
